We had an excellent experience at The Center when our family member needed to be treated for anxiety. The counselor was so helpful and suggested wonderful tips & coping skills that have lasted a lifetime! We truly love everyone at The Center. Would highly recommend their services!

It's my privilege to call Dr. Jantz a friend. He is skilled and caring. Compassionate and gifted. He is thoroughly committed to bring healing to the whole person. He is not only a counselor and therapist, he is a man of mercy and grace.

I have the privilege of visiting the Center once a month and working closely with the patients around the topic of forgiveness. It’s a unique opportunity to see the burdens and pain of those who just arrive. Then, the transformation and freedom of those whom are about to leave 4 weeks later. You can literally SEE the change and it is remarkable! Over the last 8 years I’ve seen every type of person with every type of problem and the results are consistently positive. The Center is truly a place of hope and healing for those who find the courage to give it a chance!

My time at the Center was life-changing to say the least. I learned one of life's most valuable lessons...how to love myself...how to treat myself as a person of value. Much unlearning of old beliefs were unleashed and let go as they did not serve me well as I fought depression and anxiety. The professionalism of the staff and the individualized approach showed such a high level of genuine caring for each person there. I am healthier in many ways because of my time at the Center..truly a place to find hope again.

I have known the Founder of The Center, Dr. Greggory Jantz, for a number of years and have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with both Dr. Jantz and his incredible staff at The Center. I have come to know a number of the staff people and am extremely impressed with their knowledge, gifts, skills and preparatory education to do the work of counseling and advising of all who come for help. No matter the issue of the those coming to The Center, they will be treated as a special person, because they are. The deep commitment of the Staff to help those in needs is evident in the time the Staff spend with their clients. It is true, as people come to The Center for help, help can come if they willingly work in concert with the Staff to final solutions and change for their life. I feel honored to work with such an amazing group of people. I find myself constantly praying for those who do all the hard work of helping others to be all they can be to live happy, healthy and productive lives. I highly recommend The Center to those who need the help that The Center can give them.

You get out of it what you put in. If you are ready to get help (which I was), The Center will completely alter the direction of your life. If you go through their process, do the work and sincerely want to change, then I wouldn't hesitate - how is becoming the best version of yourself not at the top of your priority list?! Anyone who complains about their experience here did not put in 100% effort. The Center saved my marriage, family and career.

The Center is an amazing blessing! If you're looking to find hope, this is the place where it can be restored. Depression, anxiety and stress can be crippling. The staff at The Center is wonderful, and I love that they create custom treatment plans grounded in a whole person approach. If you are struggling, I recommend calling them. They can help!

I am so incredibly thankful for this place. I spent 6 weeks here, and comparing the day I came in to the day I left was like night and day. I really was able to work through depression and panic and find my footing again to be able to live a normal life. I'm thankful for all the counselors, pastors, and all the other staff who helped me find hope and sustain it. I can say, after a few months being back home, I am not a different person, but I am the person I was always meant to be. I haven't experienced depression or panic at all since coming home. I would definitely recommend this place for those struggling with any mental health issues. They'll really help you as long as you don't leave the first week or two and stick with it until the end. Thanks again!

The Center was true to its name—it brought hope when I had none. Dr Jantz and his team were professional, respectful and very insightful. The group and individual sessions each played an important role in my healing process. I still have work to do but I feel like I have the strength, courage and, thanks to the Center, skills to overcome depression.

This past April, I hit my lowest point in my life. I was extremely depressed, anxious, and my anorexia had overtaken my life. I had lost the joy in my life. My counselor recommended many places around the country, and after calling the Center, I knew without a doubt that this was where God was leading me to go. I was so drawn to the Center and I didn't understand why...but I do now. From the first phone call with Kimmy, I knew this was a safe place. It was the farthest place away from home from any of the places I looked into, but I knew this was where I was supposed to go. I felt such love and compassion from the entire staff since day one. I will forever be grateful for their kindness, dedication, encouragement, tough love, and prayers...especially the prayers. Thanks to the Center, I learned so much about myself and life during the 6 weeks I spent there. I learned that I do have a voice and that I do matter! I do have self worth! I am learning to trust my body again- the body God gave me- and I'm learning to treat it with the kindness and respect it deserves. My amazing team stuck by my side and believed in me from day one, even before I could believe in myself. It was truly a blessing and an honor to spend time there focusing on my healing. It's still a journey...one day at a time, but I couldn't have done it without the Center. It is truly A Place of Hope....I have the sparkle in my eyes again!

This place has completely saved my life. The individualized team for each client. From the welcome desk, to every counselor and psychiatrist. The dietician and naturopaths. I have never felt so confident learning the tools to heal in my life. Thank you

After getting to the point of not knowing what else to do to get help for a 4+ year long battle with depression and anxiety my counselor had heard of The Center. It was a last minute decision, yet one that was necessary for me to keep living life. I arrived very nervous, yet realized only after a couple days that I could not leave without knowing the answers that they had there. They had skills and knowledge that provided so much new awareness about mental health and emotions that was life altering and mind blowing. The counselors are some of the best of the best in the nation. The community is so unique and a huge part of the healing process there. I came in with a negative level of self-esteem and desire to keep living life and left three weeks later at about a 5 on a scale of 1-10. My time at The Center helped me get my feet back under me and be able to take on life again. The journey with mental health is not over, but I am more prepared to face the battles each day. I am very thankful for the opportunity to fly from Missouri to attend the program at The Center.

First class care! Saved my family! So critical to dig in & dig out those internal scars. When we deal with the issues of life, the issues have less ability to deal with us! Can be hard to share private issues, but in a safe comfortable atmosphere the emotional surgery is liberating & extremely healing! Stop putting bandaids on your emotional festers, & lets get it cleaned out for good!

I was in a terrible position and found The Center, I thought it was the answer to all my prayers. Kimmy was so kind with the onboarding and since my insurance is pretty great, we figured it was going to be covered. A crazy loophole on my insurers end said I wasn’t going to be able to go. Kimmy was so upset telling me, (didn’t help I was crying to her on the phone). I heard genuine sadness in her voice and I insured I would be fine-eventually. It’s been a few weeks and I received a package from The Center. It was a little note and a book by Dr Jantz “5 keys to dealing with depression”. I almost cried. People I pay aren’t this nice. Thank you. Thank you to all at the Center, even though I didn’t get to go, you helped me to know someone was thinking about me. If they are this kind to someone who never attended, I can be sure to give a 5 star review as they would help you. Thanks Kimmy and Dr Jantz and whoever else helped with this delivery. Thank you!

I recently participated in the webinar "Forgiveness: a Pathway to Love". It was well done, very informative, and professional. I am a therapist/counselor and I learned a lot. I would love to learn more about this facility. So ready, but insurance does not cover it. If I had the funds, I would sign right up. I hope to someday, so I can help even more clients. I have heard a lot of good things.

I know Dr. Jantz and the staff to be wholly committed to their clients. The Center's longstanding, consistent record of success and acclaim are the best in the industry. Two reviews on this site that are not complimentary are for another facility with the same name of "a place of hope" but an entirely different location and entirely different business. It is a shame that they have mistakenly left their reviews here, as The Center in Edmonds Washington is regarded as the top facility in the country for the treatment of depression and anxiety. It is a special team, and an ideal setting in the small village/town. If you are considering treatment, I highly encourage you to call them and discuss the program. Life changing.

Wow! The center A Place of hope sure lives up to it's name. The staff is exceptional and they address mental health, nutritional needs, medical, psychiatric, and even drug and alcohol issues if its a problem. The staff truly care and make sure your needs are met. The groups and classes are informative, and the extensive one on one time with the therapists is invaluable. They give options of acupuncture and cooking classes if you want. You get a membership to a gym that's free to use if you want. In my experience, it's the only place that I've seen that addresses any and every problem a person struggles with. This place not only addresses these issues, but instills hope and a plan to resolve and live the quality life that's meant to be lived. I'm glad there's a place like this available. If you need help, this is definitely the place to go!

Very professional with a great reputation in the industry. One of the best facilities in the world for the treatment of depression and anxiety, and three decades of successfully treating eating disorders.

“Top Notch”. The Center a Place of Hope near downtown Edmonds Washington offers quality treatment and whole person care for people with eating disorders, depression, addictions and more. Once I heard Dr. Phil who was in the process of sending a television guest to The Center for treatment say “The Center, in Edmonds Washington, top notch”. In my 21 years of working on projects for Dr. Jantz and The Center I have observed the same underling theme carried forward by everyone I encountered, “We Care”. They do, and you will feel it from the moment you arrive. Another positive, Edmonds is a small, walk around town on the waterfront of Puget Sound, north of Seattle and facing the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. You’ll love Edmonds!

OK...The Center is a pretty amazing place!! Located in a small waterfront town of Edmonds, WA, I found the location quaint, relaxing and filled with happy people. Additionally, I found a great little cafe' a few blocks away which has the best coffee (Red Twig Bakery & Cafe'). Dr. Jantz has certainly assembled a very capable team of professionals who truly care and are vested in the outcome for each person walking through the door. The programs and resources at The Center are top notch and it's obvious the staff is committed to making it even better each day. If you are literally looking for a true "Place of Hope"....this is the place!!

The whole person approach to care is what makes A Place of Hope different. Working to treat mental health, as well as a natural nutritional mineral and herbs approach, leads to lasting care. A Place of Hope is highly recommended.

For several years, I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Gregory Jantz and his staff at The Center, A Place of Hope. Dr. Jantz is a man of true character, and he demonstrates kindness and compassion to everyone he meets. The Center's staff is world-class, and they are committed to delivering the best whole-person care for people suffering with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, stress, PTSD and other disorders. The facility has beautiful accommodations. It's location is by the Puget Sound, which is incredibly serene and relaxing.

The Center was recently recognized as the #1 facility in the United States for the treatment of depression. Founded by Dr. Gregg Jantz, it is also one of the most highly recognized facilities for the treatment of eating disorders. It is a first class facility with a highly professional and caring staff. It has a residential and warm feel, not clinical. The housing facilities are tastefully decorated with nice, modern kitchens, comfortable living rooms and comfortable bedrooms. The town of Edmonds is quaint, cute, relaxing and has a peaceful town center that is perfect for short strolls or sitting outside a cafe with a coffee. Walking to the waterfront takes five minute and it is therapeutic to watch the birds, mountains and water. The strength of The Center is the highly-trained and professional staff. The staff of forty includes medical doctors, psychologists, counselors, nutritionists, dietitians, and even a fitness counselor. They truly care and want you to get better. They use a whole person approach to healing which makes complete sense -- there are usually multiple issues with an individual. If you only treat one facet of their life, they are not getting complete healing and are not getting better in the long term. I would highly recommend considering this facility if one is looking for residential treatment.
